Art Guidelines
Please keep in mind..
- For best results, use our production art template when creating artwork for your order.
- Vector art, which allows the artwork to be scaled without loss of image quality or resolution, is required. All logos should be supplied in vector form and saved as an EPS or PDF file for best results.
- To ensure apparel is printed as desired, artwork should always be placed on a provided product template.
- CMYK colors can print with a different outcome from one imprint method to the next, one machine to the next, or even from one day to the next. CMYK should not be used to determine the exact color outcome of a print.
- PMS (Pantone Matching System) should be used as a reference for all prints that require a specific color outcome.
- Photos and bitmap images may be provided but must be 250 DPI or greater when at the full imprint size.
- Letters smaller than 10 point font may not be legible when imprinted.
- All outlines should be converted to objects/curves.
- Keep in mind, all monitors display colors differently and what you see on your screen may not be an accurate representation of the final product.
Laser Engraving and Cutting
- Wood/natural products will vary from one piece to the next. Slight imperfections are considered standard.
- Engraving outcomes are not guaranteed to be consistent and are dependent upon the wood type, grain, natural colors, and shape of each individual piece.
Full Color Dye Sublimation
- Color sublimated onto fabric may be slightly muted and vary slightly compared to colors printed on gloss paper stock or appearing on your computer screen.
- Due to different fabric textures and environmental conditions during the production process, some variation may occur from piece to piece.
- Metallic, neon, and fluorescent colors cannot be sublimated and may not appear as desired.
- Blacks should be built CMYK 0,0,0,100.
Pad Print
- PMS match colors require a $75.00 fee and will add about 3-5 business days to your order
- Standard colors are available at no additional cost.
Sample Policy
Random Samples
- For most products, we keep random samples on hand and can ship within 1-2 business days. In most situations, we won't charge for the sample, we just ask that you cover the cost of shipping. For more expensive items, please inquire for the cost of a random sample. In most cases, these can be returned if desired and you will be refunded for the sample cost.
Preproduction Samples
- Preproduction sample costs & timing will vary by product. For preproduction samples, we charge cost of setup fees + cost of one unit + shipping costs.
Self Promo Policy
- For self promotions, we can waive setup fees on your order (minimum order value of $200.00).
Order Terms & Conditions
Shipping
- International and Canada Shipments: Duties and tariffs charged will be your responsibility and will be invoices upon receipt.
- Any claims concerning delayed shipments must be made directly to the shipping carrier. Active Life Promo ceases responsibility once the merchandise is picked up by the shipping carrier.
- Any orders damaged in transit must be documented and reported with the carrier.
Product
- Photos must be supplied with replacement/refund requests.
- Orders containing live plants should be opened immediately upon delivery.
- No returns without prior authorization.
- To ensure manufacturing quality standards are met, there may be overruns and underruns up to 2.5% on all custom orders unless requested otherwise in advance.
- Apparel orders that did not use a sizing kit cannot be returned due to sizing issues.
Issues and Damages
- All issues for orders containing live plants must be reported within 1 day after delivery.
- All issues and product defects must be reported within 7 days after delivery.
- All issues must be resolved within 30 days after delivery.
